Biography
Danella Sydow has worked on the restoration of iconic monuments in the Pacific Northwest. She was honored with the Mayor’s Award from the Capitol City Arts Commission in Olympia, her place of birth. Her art has been exhibited in Seattle, Tacoma, San Francisco, New York, and England, and is held in private collections in the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, and Great Britain. Her home studio is located in a seaside village outside of Seattle.
A Golden Key Honors inductee as an undergraduate, she earned a 4.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) in graduate school. Sydow is an affiliate professor at Olympic College, and an adjunct assistant professor at Pierce College.
